Whether traveling for business or for pleasure, I'm always looking for new ways to make my experience as hassle-free, efficient, and enjoyable as possible. Hi, I'm Veronica Belmont. And today, I'm going to talk about things all frequent travelers should consider.
First, if you've not already done it, I strongly recommend looking into airline reward programs. Many reward programs have tiers which, as you move up, give you more perks.
The second frequent traveler necessity is a pair of noise canceling headphones like these. They are perfect for travelers trying to get some sleep, enjoy music, read a book, or just relax, because they reduce up to 98.7% of the background noise. They also adjust automatically to the optimal mode based on your environment's ambient noise.
Don't worry about missing important announcements over the loudspeaker, such as the next train stop or an update from the pilot, as these models have a built-in monitor function that allows you to hear surrounding sound without taking them off. They're also lightweight and very comfortable, so you can wear them for an extended period of time.
Now let's talk about electronic devices. Because I'm a tech girl, I always travel with my laptop or tablet. Now that I can access Wi-Fi at most airports, hotels, and even on many flights, I can stay connected more easily. Whether you want to be productive in work or relax and watch a movie or listen to music, a laptop or a tablet will make your travels much more productive.
Now for the items we never think about. Chargers and batteries for all your electronics are a must-have. You never know when a flight or train will get delayed and have you caught with 20% battery life for the next five hours. Make a list of the chargers that you always need, such as cellphone, laptop and tablet, camera, MP3 player. And don't forget an adapter if you're traveling internationally.
And finally, a few other comfort basics that will make your travels more enjoyable: a travel pillow, a book, lip balm if you're flying, and layers of clothing in case the weather changes or your plane is especially hot or cold.
So there you have it. Enjoy your trip.
