Billy Parisi is a graduate of the Scottsdale Culinary Institute. After serving as executive chef for two different restaurants at a young age, Billy decided to return to school at the University of Missouri where he earned a degree in communications with an emphasis in video production. He regularly spent his time at the university's prestigious Alumni Club where Executive Chef Daniel Pliska and Billy went on to win the distinction of "Iron Chef of Missouri" in 2004.
After graduating Billy relocated to Chicago and started FixMyRecipe.com, an interactive cooking show online. Since the site launched in 2008, he has been featured on live TV and radio in Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, Kansas City, Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Grand Rapids. He has also been featured in various print and cable mediums, including the Chicago Sun Times, the Chicago Tribune and Comcast On-Demand in the Chicago market.
In 2010 Billy broke out from underneath the FixMyRecipe umbrella and pursued his own brand. He now serves as the culinary spokesperson for Lowes Foods and Heinen's Grocery Stores, as well as the in-house chef and culinary face of Sears Holdings Corporations.
