Katharine French-Fuller holds a Master’s in Latin American Studies from UC Berkeley and a PhD in Modern Latin American History from Duke University. She wrote her dissertation on the connection between the rise of consumer culture and programs of economic development in 1960s Argentina. More broadly she has studied and researched the history of women, gender, consumerism, and household appliances in Latin America as well as the histories of Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. She currently works as an independent consultant for various organizations.
