livingHow to watch the Winter Olympics

Sochi snow jump
The Winter Olympics start this week and with all the hoopla surrounding the errr… extreme conditions in Sochi, rejoice in watching from the comfort of home. While reporters and athletes do their best to make do with partially completed hotels and double toilets check out a few great resources we've found to make sure you catch all the action or even better, just the stuff you actually want to see.

For the full rundown, visit the official Sochi website for tons of great info and a look seemingly more complete than the city itself. Or check out this beautifully designed interactive graphic showing schedules of events and updated results.

NBC, the official network, has a great tool for figuring out when all of your favorite events will be aired. Just plug in your zip code and cable provider for an easy-to-use schedule.

The opening ceremonies are scheduled for Friday night 7:30 ET with the games lasting until the closing ceremonies on Feb. 23 at 8:30 P.M. ET.

livingHow to be a nice guy: Derrick Coleman

Sometimes in life we learn lessons from watching other people.

This Super Bowl season we learned it from an NFL player who worked hard and now inspires others. We learned from a Duracell ad that Seattle's Derrick Coleman has been legally deaf since he was a little boy and folks thought he shouldn't play sports like the rest of the kids. Instead Derrick proved them wrong and now he pays it forward. He stands by others who, like him. are differently abled–not disabled. Watch this clip and see what we mean.
