How to remove red wine stains

Hi I'm Julie Edelman, the Accidental Housewife, here to save your manicure and your sanity for howdini. All right today what we've got going are some red wine stains. I don't know about you, but I'm a little bit of a slob and some of my friends and family are as well. So how you going to get that stain out? Well, what you need for red wine stains is some white wine. And I also like to add a little bit of salt. All right. The salt with help lift that stain. So what are we going to do? We're going to take a clean wash cloth, you're going to either pour some white wine out of the bottle, or if you've got the glass handy--I like to do whatever is convenient--you're going to get it really well saturated. Then, you got to remember this, another tip: you don't want to ever rub a stain. What you want to do is dab it really well and by the way the best way to get stains out is to treat them pronto. So immediately when it happens, get this stuff going. All right so you dap it really, really well. Almost get it drunk with it if you will, the white wine.

Then, you're going to take a little bit of salt, you're going to sprinkle it on there; salt helps to lift that good old stain. Then when you're done what you want to do is, first you're going to cut everybody off from drinking anymore red wine and just give them clear libations, or you're also going to take it over to the laundry room, use your favorite detergent, and of course color appropriate bleach. So here we go.

Hi there I'm back and I'm overloaded.  Just a little laundry joke for ya. All right, anyway do you remember that red wine stain? Well ladies, look here. And you know what that means? It's time for us to have another glass of red wine. Just be careful this time. I'm Julie Edelman, the Accidental Housewife, on howdini.
