How to peel fresh ginger
I’m Martha Drayton from Whole Foods Market. Ginger is essential to Asian cuisine. Asian cooking is very popular. However, it is extremely difficult to peel ginger. Ginger has lots of nooks crannies and crevices, and a wide peeler doesn’t work well. So I’ve learned you can use a simple kitchen spoon to peel it. It’s easy, you just hold the spoon in your hand with your thumb and forefinger and you just gently go over it and it peels. And here you are: ginger that’s ready for grating or slicing. I’m Martha Drayton from Whole Foods Market for howdini.com.
