How to replace windshield wiper blades

    • It’s time to replace your windshield wiper blades when they don't clean the windows very well and leave streaks on the glass.
    • If blades are in pretty good shape and don't need replacement, just take a rag soaked with vinegar and clean the wiper blades to remove any road debris.
    • If they DO need replacement, simply pull the blade up from the wiper arm and disconnect it. In most cases they snap right off — some models may be more difficult to get off — and many replacement blades have instructions right on the back of the package.
    • Pay close attention to how they come off; that will help you get them back on.
