How to do great holiday photography

Holidays provide some of the best opportunities to get great photos, if you remember a few simple tips. Here’s professional photographer Nigel Barker’s advice for getting the most out of every photo op:

    • Start shooting early when everyone arrives. Typically, everyone looks their best at the beginning of an event.
    • Use available lighting and adjust camera settings accordingly.
    • Capture candid moments, not just the dinner.
    • Shoot the entire group. Take wide-angle shots by adjusting camera setting.
    • And, don't forget to use the camera timer to get yourself in some photos!
