How to make pull-apart football cupcakes
Liv shows us how to cleverly make a football cake by decorating with individual cupcakes:
- Spoon frosting into a pastry bag with a large star tip.
- To make football cake shape, arrange 15 of the 24 cupcakes by lining up three rows of three cupcakes. Add one row of two cupcakes on either side. Add one cupcake on each end of the formation.
- Pipe thick lines of frosting over the football-shaped cupcake formation. Using a spatula, spread frosting until it smoothly covers the entire football cake shape. Pipe a decorative border of chocolate frosting around the edge of the football. Add assorted color candy-coated chocolate candies to the decorative border.
- Pipe laces and stitching with white decorating frosting.
- Frost and decorate remaining cupcakes as desired, and serve alongside the pull-apart football cake.
This pull-apart football cupcakes recipe serves 24.
