Jacques Torres is one of the most beloved and highly regarded chocolatiers and pastry chefs in the world. As the Chocolate Executive Officer of Jacques Torres Chocolate, Torres produces and sells his own line of hand-crafted chocolates and other high-end confectionary products at his three factory and retail locations in New York City. Before opening his outlets, Torres was the executive pastry chef at Le Cirque for over a decade. In 1998, Torres released a
52-episode PBS series, Dessert Circus with Jacques Torres, along with two companion cookbooks, Dessert Circus: Extraordinary Desserts You Can Make At Home (William Morrow), and Dessert Circus At Home (William Morrow). During this time, he hosted another television series, Chocolate with Jacques Torres, on the Food Network.
