- Mark Orwoll, Senior Consulting Editor of Travel + Leisure and Executive Editor/International of parent company American Express Publishing, has covered the travel industry since he joined T+L in 1987. He has appeared numerous times as a travel authority on network and cable television and is the author of Teach Yourself e-Travel Today (Macmillan). Orwoll also produced the magazine’s first hour-long, prime-time television special, “Travel + Leisure: The Next Destination,” winner of an Aegis Award of Excellence and two Communicator Awards.
