- Liv Hansen trained as a painter before turning her eye for color and composition to cake, buttercream, and melted chocolate. She is the author of three books: The Whimsical Bakehouse – Fun-to-Make Cakes that Taste as Good as They Look, Christmas Cookies from the Whimsical Bakehouse, and Little Cakes from the Whimsical Bakehouse. Liv has appeared on the Today Show, Top 5 (Food Network), The View and Roker on the Road, and was a finalist on the Food Network Challenge: Haunted Gingerbread.
