Millions of car seats are being recalled by baby product giant, Graco. While no injuries have been reported, Graco says the buckles can jam making it difficult to unlock especially in an emergency.
3.9 million toddler convertible car seats and harnessed booster seats made from 2009 to 2013 are in the recall. Models Affected: Toddler Convertible Car Seats: Cozy Cline, Comfort Sport, Classic Ride 50, My Ride 65, My Ride 70, My Ride 65 with Safety Surround, Size4Me 70, My Size 70, Head Wise 70, Smart Seat. Harnessed Booster Seats: Nautilus 3-in-1, Nautilus Elite and Argos.
Graco says the buckles get jammed when crumbs and drinks get into the buckle areas. They suggest cleaning the buckles or requesting a new improved replacement buckle for your child’s seat.
Parents can contact Graco directly for the replacement.
